Privacy on the jumptools.com web site (the "Site") is of great importance to us. Because we gather important information from our subscribers, we have established this Privacy Policy ("Policy") as a means to communicate our information gathering and dissemination practices. Please read the following Policy to understand how your personal information will be treated as you make full use of our many offerings. This Policy is our commitment to your privacy.

In providing you with a range of products and services to assist you with your real estate business, we continue to expand the products and services available and the technology we use continues to change. But, no matter how our business changes, we will always do our best to protect your privacy. This Policy will be reviewed for appropriateness from time to time as our users and requirements change, and therefore this Policy may change from time to time, so please check back periodically.

What Information We Collect

Like most organizations, we collect and use personal information about our customers and visitors to our web site. Personal information means any information about an identifiable individual. We collect your personal information online to provide you with the most personalized web experience possible. In many cases the more we know about you the more value we can offer you.

Personal information will only be collected by fair and legal means. Our collection of personal information will be limited to that necessary for the purposes we have identified to you. By your continued use of our web site and provision of your personal information online, you are deemed to continue to provide your permission to this collection and use of information for the purposes set out herein.

Information collected may include: contact information such as your name, company name, address, phone/fax numbers, e-mail address, real estate broker, and information related to the type of service(s) in which you are interested. Customers can opt out of providing this additional information by not entering it when asked.

If you use the Google Sync feature of the Jumptools product, we will also collect your Google Account ID and your associated Google email address, as well as information from your Google Contacts records, including contact ID and personal information such as names, addresses, email addresses and telephone numbers. We will also collect Google Calendar event data.

How We Use the Information We Collect

We use the information to contact visitors to our site to further discuss customer interest in our company, the Service that we provide, and to send information regarding our company or partners, such as promotions and events.

If you use the Google Sync feature of the Jumptools product, we will use your Google ID, your associated email and the contact information from your Google Contacts to create records in your MyBook CRM based on the information from your Google account, and to send records from your CRM to your Google Contacts. The stored contact information will not be shown to other users of the Jumptools product, nor will we make it available to any third parties. We won't distribute your contact information to anyone; we simply use it to provide two-way synchronization of contacts between your Jumptools CRM and your Google account. Similarly we will use copies of your Google Calendar events to allow for a synchronized copy of your CRM tasks and appointments to be visible in your Google Calendar, and for your Google Calendar events to be visible within your CRM calendar.

We also collect information in order to:

(a) have a better understanding of your preferences, needs and interests;

(b) develop, enhance, market and/or provide products and services to meet those needs;

(c) offer, and to allow our partners to offer, you rewards, benefits, products, goods and services;

(d) enable you to participate in promotions and contests; and

(e) obey the laws and regulations in force and ensure the security and processing of information.

If a user elects to use our referral service for informing a friend about our site, we ask them for the friend's name and email address. Jumptools.com will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting them to visit the site. Jumptools.com does not store this information.

Customer email addresses and any personal customer information will not be distributed or shared with third parties. Customers can opt out of being contacted by us, or receiving such information from us, at any time by sending an email to customerservice@jumptools.com.

Jumptools customers will be using the Site to host data and information ("Data"). Jumptools will not review, share, distribute, print, or reference any such Data except as provided in the jumptools.com Master Subscription Agreement, or as may be required by law. Individual records may at times be viewed or accessed only for the purpose of resolving a problem, support issue, or suspected violation of the Master Subscription Agreement, or as may be required by law. Of course, customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their user registration and password.

Personal information is processed and stored in secure and confidential databases in Toronto, Ontario.

Aggregate Data

In addition, from our website, we collect information such as statistics, domain names and/or IP addresses to help diagnose technical problems, to administer our web site in order to constantly improve the quality of our service. We may also use personal information and data collected to generate statistics and aggregate reports for internal use, such as new product development and marketing, and for sharing with affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, content suppliers, successors and advertisers. These statistics and aggregate reports will not contain any personally identifiable information; your identity is kept anonymous.

Cookies

Cookies are pieces of information that a website transfers to your computer's hard drive for record keeping purposes. Our use of cookies allows us to personalize your online interaction with us by alerting you to information, products or services we think would be of interest to you. The use of cookies is an industry standard and many major web sites use them to provide useful features to their customers. Cookies in and of themselves do not personally identify users, although they do identify a user's computer. With most Internet browsers you can erase cookies from your computer hard drive, block all cookies, or receive a warning before a cookie is used. Opt-Out Policy

From time to time, we will notify users of new products, services and partnerships. If you do not wish to receive marketing or promotional communications in electronic, printed or verbal format, simply send us an e-mail at unsubscribe@jumptools.com with "Unsubscribe" in the subject line.

Disclosing Information Collected

We may disclose personal information without your consent where such disclosure is required by law, regulation or government request, required to comply with a warrant or court order, is related to an offence that has been or is about to be committed, is required due to an emergency, is made for the purpose of collecting a debt owed by you, is made to our lawyers or other agents in the course of representing us, is protecting our rights or property and that of our users, partners, agents, suppliers, licensors or merchants, or is necessary or appropriate to site operation.

Business Transfers

As we continue to develop our business, we may acquire additional companies. In such transactions, customer information is generally one of the transferred business assets. Also, in the event that Jumptools Inc. transfers substantially all of its assets, customer information will be one of the transferred assets.

Safeguarding Information

We have security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. We have adopted appropriate safeguards to ensure that personal information is secure against disclosure, loss or theft or unauthorized access, copying, use or modification. Such safeguards include physical measures, such as restricting access to offices and filing cabinets, organizational measures, such as limiting access to personal information on a 'need to know' basis and technological measures such as using passwords and encryption. Our employees are aware of the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of personal information.

As the Internet is not a totally secure medium, we cannot guarantee that our safeguards will always be totally effective particularly in cases of fraudulent conduct or fraudulent concealment, provision by third parties of incorrect data, willful actions by third parties to corrupt or tamper with the database and/or the data and other such actions or occurrences.

These links will lead you to sites operated by different organizations with different privacy practices. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such web sites. Customers and visitors will need to check the policy statement of these other web sites to understand their policies.

Removal of and Access to Personal Information

Should you require the removal of your personal data, please submit a written request to the address listed below. Upon receiving your written request , we will remove your personal information from view as soon as reasonably possible and in accordance with applicable law.

Please note that some personal information will be retained in order to comply with law, fraud prevention, resolve disputes and other internal business processes.

You may request access to your personal information in accordance to applicable law.

All requests must be made in writing and addressed to Jumptools. You will be required to provide information for security reasons including identity verification.

An administrative fee may apply, depending on the request.

Jumptools has the right to deny access to personal information. In this case, Jumptools will provide an explanation on why your request for access to personal information has been denied.

How to Contact Us

Upon written request and reasonable notice, individuals will be given information about their personal information held by us. You will be provided with an opportunity to confirm the accuracy and completeness of your personal information and have it amended.
